# MailCircle — full product brief Last reviewed: 2026-10-10 Status: concept-and-interface-preview Canonical site: https://mailcircle.businessos.si/ (placeholder origin, replaced at deploy) ## What MailCircle is MailCircle is being shaped around a familiar conversation view for email. The idea: start writing in a chat-style conversation you already understand, then see and keep what a proper email needs (recipients, subject, body) before anything is delivered. Positioning: A familiar conversation. A proper email — our product direction. Signature lines: "Start with a chat. See the email." and "The draft is real. The delivery is not connected." Logo tagline: "Custom Email & Chat-Native Email" (brand line describing the direction, not a claim that delivery works today). MailCircle is the name for a scoped communication concept within the Business OS platform. It is not a separately shipped application. The actual product screens come from the Business OS source and still show Business OS branding. The earlier working name was EmailCircle. ## Availability boundary (the edge of today) Concept preview — not a live email service. The current interface saves local drafts. It does not send chat messages as email, connect your mailbox or bring replies back into the chat. Works today, in the browser (interface only, local data): - Chat-style layout with channel, group and direct-message draft views - Thread and mention views - Email draft composer: to, cc, subject, body, with an email preview - Save email drafts to browser-local storage - Reusable quick replies (locally saved wording) - Draft list, conversation and inbox-style views (mine / unassigned / all) Needs setup (screens exist, nothing runs live): - Channel, routing, labels and SLA configuration screens Not built yet (product direction): - Sending a drafted email (the send action is disabled) - Connecting a mailbox (Gmail, Outlook or any provider) - Delivering a chat message as real email - Bringing email replies back into the same conversation - Shared live inbox delivery and routing - Attachment delivery - Cross-device sync or backup of drafts Not verified and never claimed: - AI writing or chat-to-email AI rewriting - Whether recipients would need an account The parent Business OS platform has a separate transactional email foundation (for messages such as verification and invitations) that was tested separately. It is not connected to the chat and email draft interface, and it does not mean MailCircle sends conversation messages. ## Who it may help - Small-business owners: sharing a quotation update, appointment detail or project note without turning every message into a writing exercise. Sending to customers is future work. - Freelancers: client communication that moves between quick thoughts and formal email threads. - Customer-facing teams: several people needing to see who is handling a message and what was said earlier. Draft inbox, assignment and quick-reply surfaces exist; shared live delivery and routing are not implemented. It does not suit everyone. Use a concrete example to check fit. ## How the journey works 1. Explore the draft conversation — try the chat-style layout. Messages remain local drafts. 2. Write and preview an email — fill in recipients, subject and message, review the preview, save a draft. 3. Reuse common wording — local quick replies for messages you write repeatedly. 4. Tell us what must work — help define the send, reply and mailbox behaviour you need. These live delivery connections are not available in the preview. ## On this website - Concept sandbox (home and /preview/email-drafts/): a website simulation of the concept, not a product screenshot. Type a chat-style message, insert quick-reply wording, watch a live email preview, save a draft to this browser. The Send button is permanently disabled ("Not available in this preview"). - Brochure: 12-page A4 concept preview brochure, /downloads/MailCircle-Brochure-Concept-Preview.pdf (about 5.9 MB). - Real product screenshots and videos are pending; reserved slots are listed in /media-slots.json. Real captures must carry the caption "Business OS seeded host organization; communication drafts local-only; send disabled". ## Commercial - Primary action: Discuss your email workflow (/contact/). - Pricing: not published. Ask for a written scope and price before any purchase decision. - An enquiry implies no purchase, production access or delivery timeline. - No free trial, guarantee, testimonial, certification, customer count or response-time promise exists. - The enquiry form currently has no submission destination. It validates your entry, explains that it is not connected, and lets you copy your enquiry. It will only show success after confirmed receipt once a destination is configured. - Privacy and terms are not yet published as final; /privacy/ explains the publication gate. Please use sample or anonymised information and never share passwords, employee records, payment details or confidential customer information. ## Leadership - Divya Prakash Jha — CEO - Vaibhav Jain — COO - Zeeshan Khan — CMO No leadership quotes are published until approved. ## Frequently asked questions Does MailCircle send chat messages as email today? No. That is the product direction. The current preview provides local chat and email drafts without a connected delivery path. Can I connect Gmail or Outlook? No. No live Gmail or Outlook mailbox connector exists in the reviewed source. Will my recipient need a MailCircle account? The intended experience aims to reach recipients through email. This behaviour is not built or verified, so account requirements are not settled. Where do my drafts go? The preview keeps drafts in browser-local storage. They are not verified as synchronised, backed up or shared across devices. Can I receive replies in the chat? Not in the current preview. Inbound email handling and conversation matching still need implementation. Does it use AI to write better emails? No scoped AI rewrite or chat-to-email AI workflow has been verified. AI writing is not offered. Can I attach a file? Live attachment delivery is not available. The shared email foundation currently rejects unsupported attachment fields. Why do the preview screenshots say Business OS? MailCircle is the name for this scoped product direction. The current communication screens come from the Business OS source and still carry its branding. Is there any working email code? The parent platform has a separate transactional email foundation for messages such as verification and invitations. It is not connected to the chat and email draft interface. Can I use the preview for confidential client emails? Use sample, anonymised text. The preview is not a live secure mailbox or a production email service. What can I evaluate now? The draft-writing experience, conversation organisation, quick replies and email preview. Live delivery and mailbox behaviour must wait for implementation. How much does it cost? No public price is listed. Ask for a written scope and price for your requirements. ## Pages / · /how-it-works/ · /who-it-helps/ · /who-it-helps/small-business-owners/ · /who-it-helps/freelancers/ · /who-it-helps/customer-facing-teams/ · /preview/conversations/ · /preview/email-drafts/ · /vision/ · /trust/ · /evaluation/ · /about/ · /contact/ · /faqs/ · /brochure/ · /watch/ · /blog/ · /ai/ · /privacy/
